About Us

Founded in October 2016, Bluepha is a global leader in industrial and consumer biotechnology, a National High-Tech Enterprise, a biomanufacturing unicorn, and a National Key R&D Program undertaking unit, headquartered in Hongkou District, Shanghai. Our core R&D team hails from top institutions including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Harvard Medical School, having independently built an industry-leading synthetic biology high-throughput automated R&D innovation platform with nearly 100 patents and scientific achievements.

To date, Bluepha has completed nearly RMB 1.3 billion in financing from leading investors including Zhongping Capital, FreeS Fund, GL Ventures, Lightspeed China Partners, and Yunqi Partners, along with state and local funds including the China State-Owned Enterprise Mixed Ownership Reform Fund and Jiangsu Huanghai Financial Holding Group.
